HONORING CALIFORNIA’S BEST AND BRIGHTEST IN THE COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (July 23, 2019) – The California Association of Community Managers (CACM) is searching for the industry’s standout leaders and rising stars. The trade association, headquartered in Southern California, has opened up the nominations for the 2020 Vision Awards. All nominees will be honored at an exclusive VIP reception and the Award Honorees will be recognized at a special formal ceremony held at the 2020 Northern California and Southern California Law Seminars in February and March, respectively.The Vision Awards are the highest distinction bestowed upon California community managers.

The awards program identifies those who exemplify the very best in the profession of community management; honors their contributions to the profession; and recognizes the positive difference that they have made in the lives of their colleagues, association homeowners and the communities they serve. Nominees include community managers, management companies and industry partners who exceed the highest standards of professionalism and skill, display a commitment to excellence, and exhibit high ethical standards.

“It’s important to acknowledge those who go above and beyond daily to provide customer service and elevate our industry,” said Tom Freeley, CAMEx, CCAM, CEO and president of CACM. “Most are too humble to let us know, but we hope their peers, employers and client boards will nominate them for their outstanding contributions. We have a special night planned for the awards recognition show.”

Awards are given in the following categories: In the individual award category, there are five awards: rising star, innovator, leadership, educational excellence and social media ambassador awards. In the company award category, there are three awards: educational excellence, inspirational culture and social impact awards. The 2020 Vision Awards recognize achievements from November 1, 2018 through October 31, 2019. Any CACM member may nominate a CACM member colleague. In addition, any employee of a member, association board member, peer or colleague may nominate a CACM member. CACM also accepts self-nominations.
