Building the Next Generation of Community Managers!

California Association of Community Managers (CACM) is the leading professional organization dedicated to advancing excellence in community association management across California. CACM provides education, resources and certification programs that set the standard for the industry.

In an effort to elevate our industry standards and provide education, CACM has partnered with California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) to offer students the opportunity to enroll in BUS 495: HOA Management and Leadership, a specialized course designed to provide a strong foundation in community management. The curriculum blends business, law, finance and leadership, preparing students for real-world roles and opening the door to long-term career growth.

This course also serves as a meaningful first step toward pursuing the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) designation, allowing students to dive in with intention, confidence and clarity.

Enrollment Steps
To enroll in a course at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), you log into your OASIS account, go to the Student Center, find the Enroll link under the Academic tab, select your term, search for classes, add them to your shopping cart and then finish the enrollment process to register, all done after your assigned enrollment time.
