This interactive course provides members with a comprehensive understanding of human resource strategies that is key to managing staff members in an effective, legal and consistent way. This course will help managers expand their leadership skills, become a more effective supervisor and enhance employee productivity.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

– Know what constitutes an employment contract;
– Identify key elements of third-party maintenance contracts;
– Become familiar with recommended policies and procedures found in an employment handbook;

– Understand required compliance with employee wages and compensation laws;
– Become familiar with anti-discrimination laws;
– Know the performance management process and what to do when it’s not working;
– Manage workplace conflict to ensure a successful outcome; and
– Identify how to effectively and professionally terminate employment.
