Credential Recertification Requirements

CCAM and CAFM certified individuals are required to complete their annual certification maintenance fee and 30 Continued Education Units (CEUs) to recertify every 3 years.

MCAM certified managers are required to complete 20 Continued Education Units (CEUs) to recertify every 3 years.

Recertification – Managers

To recertify, CCAM, CAFM and MCAM Certified Individuals are required to:

1. Access My Certifications and ensure you are enrolled in recertification.

2. Complete 30 CEUs within 3 years (20 CEUS for MCAM)

a. Attend a CACM Law Seminar & Expo (8 CEUs) and upload an event completion document to your in-progress recertification in the Education Center.
b. Complete an ethics course (4 CEUs) and upload a course completion document to your in-progress recertification in the Education Center.

i. Initial recertification period: Advanced Ethics (4 CEUs).
ii. Next recertification period: Ethics Mastery (4 CEUs) prerequisite is Advanced Ethics.

c. Complete remaining 18 CEUs (8 CEUs for MCAM) and upload your current course transcript to your in-progress recertification in the Education Center.

3. Upload a recertification form to the in-progress recertification on education.cacm.org before your recertification deadline date.
