IRVINE, Calif. – Powerstone has made the Orange County Business Journal’s Best Places to Work rankings for 2019. This is the third year in a row that Powerstone has made the list. The community management firm made the ranks in the medium employer category, consisting of 50 to 249 employees. A total of 100 companies made the Best Places to Work list, which also includes small employer and large employer categories.

The Orange County Business Journal conducts a survey to determine which participants are the best employers. The process is managed by Best Companies Group and winners are published in the newspaper. Companies detail their policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees also complete a survey.

Some of the employee perks Powerstone offers are Flex Fridays for its managers to thank them for their night meetings; tickets to Angels games for the whole company and their families; summer family beach parties; quarterly meetings to discuss all things about the company; in-house events to celebrate just about anything – national ice cream day, national towel day, national selfie day, etc.; and Powerstone also has a gym at its Irvine headquarters for the entire staff to use.

“We are extremely honored to be named as a best place to work for the third year in a row. We’ve all worked very hard to create a philosophy and place where our people can thrive. I’m a firm believer that when you mix talent with enthusiasm good things happen and this award has proved it,” said Powerstone CEO Rene Decker, CAMEx, CCAM. “I think that our clients have also recognized that we’ve really captured some magic with the team we have. I’m very proud of all of them.”

The newspaper has conducted the surveys for 11 years. Deadline is in March and winners are published in July. Companies must have a facility in Orange County and a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in Orange County.
