This interactive course
is designed to increase your depth and breadth of knowledge as it applies to
managing a portfolio of community associations. Learn many best practices of
industry professionals employed in creating and transitioning developer
controlled CIDs to owner involved associations while acquiring a toolkit of
resources for future use.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
– Identify personal
strategies for effective time management and project/task priorities;
– Discuss the various
common area spaces and best approaches for engaging management with a
service provider, board or agency;
– Enhance knowledge of
how to work successfully with service providers, external agencies and
boards;
– Draft a plan of action
to improve safety and emergency processes;
– Identify approaches
for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies;
– Create an action plan
to identify and resolve risks and exposures in the governing documents; and
– Identify a strategy to
work with local agencies to support future safety, emergency regulatory and
goodwill interactions;
– Access a number of
reliable resources for educational information.

This is an advanced-level course. Members must hold a valid CCAM or CAFM in order to satisfy the course pre-requisite.
Completion
of this course is required of all members pursuing their New Development
specialty designation.
