Meet Your 2026 BOD Slate of Candidates

The election for CACM’s 2026 Board of Directors will take place via electronic voting from November 4 through November 14, 2025. All active CACM manager members will be sent an email on November 4 with voting information, a username and password, and a link to log onto the electronic voting system. Voting will close at 5:00 pm on November 14, 2025. Election results will be announced to the membership soon after the election.
Those with an asterisk next to their name are a current Board member seeking re-election.

 

Adriana DaSilva, CCAM, Next Step Community Management

I am honored to submit my candidacy for the CACM Board of Directors. With 25 years in the industry and certification since 2005, CACM has been integral to my professional journey. I’ve been actively involved with CACM serving on the Law Committee and as a CACM speaker and I believe it’s time to give back in a greater capacity. As our industry navigates evolving challenges, I believe collaboration, education, and innovation are key to our collective success. I am eager to serve on the board so that I can contribute my experience and passion to help advance our industry.

I’ve proudly served on the CACM Board of Directors for six years and would be honored to earn your vote for a third term. Our industry faces a pivotal moment with the State of California, and I’m committed to continuing the progress we’ve made to protect managers, companies, and the profession. I remain active as a CACM panelist and committee member because I believe in giving back to the industry that’s given so much to my family and me.

Brenda Hendricks, CCAM, PCAM, CAM(NV), The Helsing Group Inc.

The opportunity to run for a seat on the CACM Board of Directors has presented itself to me at a time when I can devote my personal time to the board, to give back and contribute to an organization that has provided me with exceptional industry-related education and guidance over a 20-year career. My journey started from the very bottom and I have been fortunate to has many mentors throughout the years. I personally recognized the importance of obtaining state-specific education and a professional certifications to stay focused and educated in a field that is every changing and challenging.

 

Laura Hurtado, CCAM-PM.CI, Synergy Management Group

Laura Hurtado, CCAM-PM.CI is the current CEO of Synergy Management Group and has over 20 years of experience in various senior management roles, from Portfolio Management to Business Development and Client Services Director. Laura’s career has encompassed managing diverse types of associations from residential to commercial and industrial associations, allowing her to lead her team effectively.  Her operational expertise spans from client relations, financials to vendor management.

TJ Johnson, CCAM, Grapevine Property Services

Over 30 years in the industry, 23 as the owner of GPS, I bring with me experience in team building, organization, communication, and conflict resolution. I’m not a proponent of “the big boys club”. I strive to create an environment that is inclusive and welcoming. In a not so easy industry, we need to build comradery and support. I commit to being a strong team member and working together with fellow board members to build an ever-evolving future for CACM.

Devin Langley, CCAM-PM.ND.CI, The Management Trust

With nearly 19 years of experience in Community Management on the Central Coast, I’m passionate about advancing our industry through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to elevating the industry. I believe in the power of shared knowledge and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of our communities. Serving on the CACM Board of Directors would allow me to contribute my experience, support best practices, and work alongside fellow professionals to strengthen our field. I’m dedicated to CACM’s mission and excited about the opportunity to help shape the future of Community Management together. 

Ben Sloman, CCAM, PCAM, CAMEx, Associa Northern California

I am passionate about advancing excellence in community association management and believe my strategic leadership and industry experience will benefit CACM’s mission. I am committed to fostering collaboration and best practices. Serving on the Board would allow me to contribute my vision and dedication to elevate our profession, ensure ethical standards, and support professional development for all members, I have earned my CCAM, pursued CAMEx and engaged in multiple committees. I value the opportunity to give back, support fellow managers, and drive positive change for our industry’s future.
