CACMSTRONG FOUNDATION PROVIDES RELIEF TO THE COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (September 23, 2019) – The California Association of Community Managers (CACM) has formed a new foundation to support California community managers, their families and the communities they serve through challenging and extenuating circumstances. The idea for the CACMStrong Foundation stemmed from the 2018 wildfire season, which was the deadliest and most destructive on record in California.

Dozens of community managers were personally affected and many communities also saw tremendous devastation as homeowners lost their properties and belongings to wildfires. Since then, CACM president and CEO Tom Freeley, CAMEx, CCAM, felt it was important to establish the foundation. The CACMStrong Foundation will give back and support the industry, provide relief to CACM members, their families and the clients they serve, and help those affected by tragic events, whether that’s natural disasters or other difficult challenges.

“CACM feels compelled to help those in our community overcome some of these catastrophic events,” said Freeley. “All of us have been impacted in some way, sometimes directly or someone we know. We are a very close-knit community and we all are stronger when we help each other. That’s ultimately our goal with this foundation.”

All donations to the CACMStrong Foundation are tax-deductible. The foundation is an entirely separate entity from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Donations are accepted at https://cacm.org/CACMStrong/. They can also be sent to CACM’s headquarters, ATTN: CACMStrong: 23461 South Pointe Dr. Suite 200, Laguna Hills, CA 92653.

Businesses and individuals impacted by natural disasters or other unforeseen events qualify for assistance, as well as nonprofit entities that provide aid to our community. To apply for aid, fill out the relief request form. Relief efforts are aimed at California residents and businesses. For more information on the CACMStrong Foundation, visit www.cacm.org/CACMStrong.
